Argument ends with stabbing

An argument between a former and current boyfriend ends with one man in the hospital, and one in jail.
It was one of those confrontations that get out of hand.
And it involved an argument over child visitation.
According to police, it all happened this morning around 10 o'clock in a small apartment complex on the 400 block of South Bonner when a former boyfriend, Donald Franklin, came to see his son and former girlfriend.
The current boyfriend of the woman, Marcus Horn, was there, and an argument began.
It escalated ultimately involving the virtual destruction of Horn’s car, and ended when the former boyfriend pulled a knife and stabbed Horn multiple times.
Franklin then ran to a nearby beauty parlor and called 9-1-1, claiming the other man had pulled a gun.
No gun was found and Franklin was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Horn was rushed to a local hospital. He is expected to recover from his wounds.
Franklin has a long rap sheet with Smith County involving everything from drug possession to assault.
