Top 13 Online Colleges in Chicago

The big problem with college education is that it consumes time and money. Fast. By enrolling in one of the top online Chicago colleges, you can earn your degree at your own pace, in your spare time for less money.

University of Illinois Online
The online courses from the U of I are offered from the Chicago campus as well as from the Champaign-Urbana and Springfield campuses. Fighting Illini students can earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees and certificates online. Their programs include Business Administration and Educational Organization and Leadership.  

City Colleges of Chicago
CCC consists of seven Chicago colleges across the city and over the years it has sent more than a million graduates into the nation’s workforce. The school offers bachelor’s and associate degrees along with certificates. The more than 200 programs they offer include General Education, Hospitality and Culinary Arts.
Kendall College
This college was founded in the mid-1930s with the goal of providing students with the skills to find rewarding careers. Kendall now has alumni across the world and offers four-year bachelor’s degrees along with associate degrees in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Early Childhood Education and more.

DePaul University
DePaul offers roughly 300 graduate and undergraduate programs. The programs include Business and Special Education; they are offered at the three campuses the school has throughout the city, and, of course, online. DePaul has graduated more than 150,000 students.

Northwestern College 
NC has a long history in Chicago, one going back more than a century. They have three Chicago colleges and provide several programs online. The online programs include Business Administration, in which students can earn an associate degree.

Loyola University
This school has more than 15,000 students currently enrolled in its three campuses throughout the city. The online courses on offer include those at the Quinlan School of Business Administration and those at Loyola’s School of Education.  

Westwood College
This school has campuses across the country including one in Chicago. The school was founded in 1953 and offers more than 30 programs that can be taken online or on campus. The programs include Business Administration. The school boasts over 24,000 graduates and more than 13,000 presently enrolled. 

Strayer University
The school offers master’s and bachelor’s degrees in a variety of areas, and diplomas and graduate certificates in others, Business Administration and Education are among the various offerings to the more than 50,000 students across the country, including Chicago. 

Argosy University
At Argosy, students can get master’s and bachelor’s degrees in various programs including Business Administration and Education. The school was formed in 2001 when three schools merged to create this university with campuses all over the country, including in Chicago. 

Lewis University
Lewis provides online courses in Organizational Leadership as well as in Education. Lewis was founded in 1932 and offers six programs online and 25 in total.

The Illinois Institute of Technology
IIT has five campuses in the Chicago area and roughly 2,400 undergraduates presently studying. The school has provided distance education for students in and around Chicago, even before the Internet. Their programs include a master’s degree in Information Technology Management.
Roosevelt University
This university has been around since 1945 and has a variety of bachelor’s and master’s programs available online including ones in Organizational Leadership  and Teacher Leadership.
