Gloria Gallardo anchors the news updates for East Texas Live from 11 a.m. to noon and reports weekdays on KETK. She also serves as Executive Producer.

Gloria first got the news bug listening to the police scanners at the assignment desk in her hometown of San Antonio. Gloria comes to East Texas after working in news for several years in San Antonio and El Paso.

In her three years in East Texas, Gloria has come to love covering what makes the community special whether it's ATV racing or historical figures like former House Rep. Charlie Wilson.

Although Gloria was born in Monterrey, Mexico; she also considers Texas home, enjoying the multi-cultural, independent Texas spirit.

She got her Bachelor's Degree in English and Communications from St. Mary's University in San Antonio. Gloria also spent some time studying in Spain, and getting to know the European roots of Spanish.
