Yes, I’m a cub reporter, and proud of it – because I’m here at KETK!
I just graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville this May – but immediately, I feel I’ve found my home away from home here in Tyler. During my college years, I worked at UATV, the university’s student-produced television station, holding positions in every capacity from anchor to producer. During my last year at the station I served as the UATV Volunteer Coordinator to train new volunteers at the station. I was also an active member of the Arkansas Alpha chapter of Pi Beta Phi.
As an intern for Little Rock’s ABC affiliate, KATV during the summer of 2007, I knew I had found my career. Nothing makes me happier than searching out a good story and sharing it as it happens!
When I'm not working I love to study market trends (shopping) and I’ve always felt strongly about keeping fit – so strongly that I was chosen to carry the Olympic torch all the way through Little Rock in 2002!
It’s a long way from Little Rock, Arkansas where my parents still live and still love to “Call the Hogs” but I am very happy to be living here in East Texas.
I’m around and I’d love to meet everyone here, so don’t hesitate to say hello -- or send me an email at llandry@nbc56.com
