Hi Everyone!

I've been working at KETK since March of 2007 as the Weekend Anchor/Reporter.
You can catch me sitting next to my fabulous co-anchor Mr. Brady Douglas at 5 & 10 o'clock on the weekends, and reporting the day's news on Thursdays and Fridays.

What brings me to East Texas?
Easy answer-- my love for journalism!

I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a major in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Communications.
From there, I worked in Wisconsin at the ABC affiliate, WAOW as the Weekend Anchor/Reporter.

I was born in the Midwest, but don't let that fool you- I am a true Texan at heart. My father's job has allowed me to live in many different states. I was born in Illinois, moved to Texas, then to Colorado, back to Texas, Illinois, back to Texas, Wisconsin, and now-- I am back again! Quite the story, huh? It seems Texas is the place for me.

My family currently lives in North Dallas.
My parents, Connie and Jerry, have been happily married for more than 30 years.
I also have two younger siblings-- Stephanie and Jered.

On my days off, you can find me shopping, working out, visiting my family, and believe it or not- cleaning and cooking. And if you know me really well, then you know I'm always looking for the next big story!!! Some would say that's an understatement.
