"Hey y'all, I'm working on my Texan. I am Shari Dunn and I am very happy to be here in East Texas and part of the KETK news team.

I am originally from Milwaukee, WI (go Packers) but I've lived many places, Chicago, Washington DC, New York and Los Angeles.

I am a graduate of Marquette University and Northwestern School of Law, yeah I am one of them.

I practiced law for several years and then went onto lobbying and running a national foundation.

So how did I get into news? Well news has always been a passion of mine so while I was doing all those other things I was learning the ropes.

I began my news career at WISC-TV 3000 in Madison, WI, hosted a community affairs talk show called Inside/Outside Milwaukee on the WB station and then went on to a freelance career doing legal commentary, investigative pieces and general reporting for outlets as diverse as Court TV, Celebrity Justice, KCET Los Angeles and Oprah to name a few."

What do I do for fun? Well, my mini pincher Princess D keeps me busy, I
love to cook, workout, I sing (a little bit) and I know a lot of trivia.
