Hits suspected burglar in chest

Lufkin---The Lufkin Daily News is reporting; A man told police he saw someone entering his vehicle in the 800 block of Taylor Avenue.

The man approached the suspect with a metal meat tenderizer, striking the suspect in the chest to halt the burglary. The suspect ran off and could not be located by officers.
