Tyler Police tell KETK the child found legally drunk over the weekend is expected to be released from a Dallas children's hospital today.

Saturday afternoon, Tyler Police responded to a call in reference to a one year old with a high blood alcohol level.

After investigating, police arrested Tyler man Ronchekal Dumune Yon.

He's being held in the Smith County jail charged with injury to a child, which is a 3rd degree felony.
