Texas murder suspect could be in Montana

Suspected of killing two year old in Duncanville.

Helena Mont.---The Associated Press is reporting; Authorities say a man suspected of killing a 2-year-old child in Texas could be in Montana.

Billings Police Sgt. Kevin Iffland says he received word from Texas authorities that 44-year-old Johnny "Scorpio" Lewis may be traveling through Montana, possibly by bus, on his way to Canada.

Lewis, who is wanted on a capital murder warrant out of Dallas County, might have been in Billings at about 9 a.m. Thursday and was then spotted in the Helena area at about 3 p.m.

He is a suspect in the Feb. 20 homicide of a 2-year-old child in Duncanville.

Police do not believe he has any family in Montana, and he could be staying in shelters along the way.
