Texas State Railroad — This October the Texas State Railroad will host PEANUTS™ - The Great Pumpkin Patch Express. Join Snoopy for a train excursion themed after Charles M. Schulz's classic story "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" departing the Texas State Railroad Rusk Depot on October 2, 7-9, 14-15, 22 & 29 at 11:00am and on Saturdays there is an additional 1:45pm departure.

On board the train, guests will listen to a live reading of the classic story. Upon arrival, everyone will be greeted by Snoopy. During the layover enjoy picking a pumpkin from "The Great Pumpkin Patch" and trick-or-treat at "Trick or Treat Street". Other activities include a hayride, petting zoo, live musical entertainment, bounce house, and more. Children are encouraged to wear costumes.
