CNN — Big news for superhero fans:
According to the Hollywood Eeporter, Superman and Batman are teaming up for a new movie.
Warner Brothers officially announced the project Saturday at the Comic-Con festival in San Diego.
Henry Cavill is set to reprise his role as Clark Kent, a.k.a. Superman.
It's not clear yet who will step in as the Dark Knight.
The new film will include several familiar faces from this year's "Man of Steel," including Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Director Zack Synder.
Christopher Nolan will be one of the film's Executive Directors.
Nolan directed the last three Batman movies and co-wrote the story for "Man of Steel."
The new Batman-Superman movie is planned for release in 2015.
