Longview police have arrested a suspect in connection with an early morning murder.

22, year old Timothy Joseph Baker was arrested in connection with the early morning murder of Javier Angel Martinez Tovar. Baker confessed to detectives that he was responsible for Tovars death.

Baker had gotten into an Tovar at the Nuway Convenience Store located at 1306 south green.

Baker followed Tovar to the area of clover and level where he stabbed tovar.

Officers found Tovar inside his car...in a nearby ditch he was rushed to the hospital...and pronounced dead a short time later.

bond has not yet been set.
