A Tyler man pleads guilty to drug trafficing.

Juan Comancho Calderon, who also stands accused of being a member of an East Texas Meth and Cocaine Ring, pleaded guilty to drug charges.

Calderon entered his plea Wednesday in Tyler federal court, on charges he planned the distribution of five kilos of cocaine, 500 grams of meth and one thousand marijuana plants.

His arrest was part of "operation thin ice" an
investigation aimed at curbing meth distribution in East Texas.

A sentencing date has not yet set.

Calderon faces a fine of up to $4 million dollars.
