Back in February; drug testing teams starting arriving on high school campuses across Texas.

Fiffty thousand public school athletes will be selected for testing.
Student athletes will be selected at random and testing dates won't be revealed beforehand.

A recent texas A&M study showed steroid use among texas students decreased half a percentage point from '04 to '06.

The study's authors say the decrease is likely because students fear testing positive and being dropped from extracurricular sports.
