East Texas Trailer Industry leaders met in Austin with the private sector prison industries authority wanting Direct Trailer's contract cancelled.

Speakers on both sides on East Texas Jobs along with The Texas Workforce Commission adjourned to an executive session and returned with the decision:

"Madam Chairman, based on the letter of february 6th, 2008 from the Texas Workforce Commission I make a motion the authority staff issues a letter to direct trailer stating the intent to decertify the direct trailer contract in 90 days from today. "

Both sides are given 90 days to try and re-work the agreement. If that happens before the board's next meeting in June their decision might be altered.
