A mother in Harris County fought to the death in a carjacking as she tried to save her baby still in the car.

And the killer is still on the loose ...

Investigators say she was about to pay her phone bill when a gold Ford Taurus pulled up.

A man got out and attacked her, stealing her keys. She repeatedly tried to fight back. Her four month old baby girl was in the car.

The mother would not give up. She was eventually stabbed once in the chest--out of the camera's view.

Now investigators are looking for a gold 2003 ford Taurus with a partial Texas license tag including 944.

They want to find the attacker and the man who was driving the car.
