A Tyler nightclub caught on fire this morning.

Someone driving pass the Kats Club called police when they saw flames coming from the back of the building.

Crews from three departments went to the club on the 11 hundred block of highway 64 east around eight o'clock.

The Assistant Smith County Fire Marshall said the fire started near the stage area ... but they don't know what caused the fire.

No one was inside when it happened.
