Joan's work flows from the impressionistic and plastic nature of the clay. Use of patterns and surface decorations signify evidence of life, all the while investigating the levels of communicating the intelligence contained therein. Currently the WHEEL has been leading her into new paths of unfamiliar territory and adventures in learning. Hope you enjoy the ride!
