November 6 & 7, 2009 2nd Annual Ranch Bluegrass Festival at Texas Rose Horse Park with nine bands performing in the indoor equestrian arena of the park's 1,700 acre facility. Hickory Hill host band for Monroe Crossing, beatlegras, Blue River, Alaska String Band, Rod Moag & Texas Grass, Bowles Creek, High Strung, Wise County Bluegrass and special surprise guests. Door prizes, horseshoe pitching contests, watermelon seed spitting contest, guitar raffle, horse drawn wagon rides, food & craft vendors, jamming sites, RV parking. Bring your lawn chairs! Free parking, all week-end pass $30 kids 12 & under free with adult.
