TYLER - The East Texas Food Bank is offering a hand to those affected by the Southern California wildfires.

21 pallets of food supplies are being sent to aid those in need.

The East Texas Food Bank is working in partnership with America's Second Harvest, the Nation's largest food bank network.

This partnership allows the East Texas Food Bank to be active in responding to disasters locally, regionally or nationally.

Joey Morris, Director of Operations at the East Texas Food Bank says; "We have been selected as one of the participating food banks to stage products just for emergencies like this."

Mr. Morris says each of the more than 750 boxes of non-perishable food will be able to feed a family of four for two to three days.
