TYLER - An elderly woman is taken to the hospital, after being injured in a robbery.

Police say the man who robbed her, 36-year-old Juan Ballesteros, is behind bars.

Police say early Saturday morning, they got a call from a 70-year-old woman at the Food Fast on Kinsey Drive in Tyler.

She told police a man took her purse-- and took off in a green car.

Coincidentally, as soon as dispatchers put the call out--- another officer on duty saw the car at another gas station in Tyler.

He stopped, and Ballesteros ran off and hid.

Someone saw him, and called police.

Police say they arrested him.

They found the woman's purse.

And what is even more interesting, police say the green car he was in was stolen from Houston.

The major crimes unit is investigating.
