TYLER - Police say two Texas College students were shot Thursday morning in the parking lot of an off-campus dorm.

It happened at the Rose Dorm on Old Kilgore Highway at about 12:30 a.m.

One student was treated for a gunshot wound to the hand. The other was shot in the stomach, and is now listed in serious condition.

Investigators say they don't know who shot the two students. A single shell casing was found in the dorm parking lot.
