TYLER - Members of the Delta Waterfowl Foundation discussed the future of duck hunting in East Texas Monday night.

Foundation members and other conservationists talked about how the loss of conservation reservoir program acres would impact the sport.

Delta Water Fowl representative Rob Olson says Texas duck hunters rely on ducks that come from other places, including Canada. He and other conservationists are concerned about the problems these ducks face on breeding grounds.

Texas duck hunting season begins in October.
