Our state's agricultural production has hit a record high.

The report shows a total economic impact to rural Texas of more than 42.6 Billion dollars.

One of the reasons for the high income is the increasing demand for corn to make ethanol.

Livestock prices were also up; along with pork and poultry.

The largest increase was a 54% jump to 1.2 billion dollars in milk sales.
