BERLIN - Former President Bush has been awarded for his commitment to Germany during the fall of the Berlin Wall and reunification.

The Henry Kissinger prize was presented by the Former U.S. Secretary of State himself. It is given annually by the American Academy in Berlin to an American or European who is deemed to have made an extraordinary contribution to Transatlantic relations.

Bush was in Berlin to celebrate the official opening of the new U.S. embassy.
