Huntington man stabbed, clubbed during disturbance
Warrant for aggravated assault issued
The Lufkin Daily News is reporting: Lufkin Police responded to a report of a disturbance along the 200 block of McHale.
Police reports indicate 47-year-old James Allen Young Jr. of Huntington, forced his way into the home where his wife resides and confronted another man, 47-year-old Daniel Williams also of Huntington, in a bedroom of the home.
During a fight, Williams was struck in the shoulder with a club and stabbed with a knife three times on his left side, the police report stated.
Williams was able to get the club away from Young and Young then left in a vehicle. Williams was taken to Memorial Medical Center-Lufkin by private vehicle for treatment, the report stated.
An arrest warrant for aggravated assault has been obtained on Young.
