Search continues for armed bandits who targeted Jacksonville Dairy Queen

One manager was hit in the mouth

Jacksonville---The Daily Progress is reporting Jacksonville Police are on the hunt for three people who robbed the Dairy Queen on Highway 79 last week.

Detective Sgt. Daniel Franklin told the Daily Progree; three armed subjects entered the restaurant at about 10 p.m. Oct. 19th.

According to Franklin: two of them appeared to have pistols, the third appeared to have a rifle.

Franklin told The Daily Progress; all of them were wearing ski masks and gloves, race, age and other defining factors are still unavailable.

Jacksonville police report one of the eatery's managers was hit in the mouth, however it is unknown as to with what he was struck — possibly a handgun or a hand.
