The Daily Progress reports a large tree limb fell onto a Jacksonville Independent School District bus Thursday.

It happened along Pine Street around 3 p.m.

According to officials at the scene, the limb fell onto the right side of the bus near the middle, damaging the vehicle and injuring a third grade Joe Wright Elementary School girl.

The girl was taken to East Texas Medical Center-Jacksonville with injuries assessed as non serious.
