Lousiana Governor travels to Houston for fellow republican's fund-raiser

Jindal draws criticism over trip
BATON ROUGE---The Associated Press is reporting; Gov. Bobby Jindal traveled to Houston for a fundraiser supporting Republican congressional candidate Bill Flores.
Jindal's office said the governor made the campaign appearance in Texas Thursday.
The trip comes only days after Jindal was criticized by LSU's student body president for spending too much time out of state.
The Louisiana governor has been a frequent traveler during the fall campaign season, stumping for GOP candidates and attending Republican fundraisers in Florida, Missouri, California, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New Hampshire and Georgia.
Jindal defended the trips and said he spends more than 90 percent of his time in the state.
