Longview, TX — Some much needed shade is coming to the Longview Dog Park.

Starting this fall 60 trees will be planted in the big dog area of the park.

Covered seating offers relief from the heat but the addition of the trees will add more shade for the dogs and its owners.

The trees are expected to be planted starting in November.

Sponsorships and donations are being expected for the trees.
