East texas families who can't afford to get their kid's pictures taken with Santa Claus got quite the treat Monday night.

The "Mobile Santa" is making stops to family's in Lindale, Van and Mineola this Christmas season.

Every year, organizers say, they go around to different neighborhoods spreading the Christmas cheer.

And they say, more and more children participate every year.

To date--- more than 4-thousand kids have taken part.

The "Mobile Santa" will be touring East Texas cities until Sunday, December 11th.
