According to the Nacogdoches Daily Sentinel, a tax abatement was approved for student housing in Nacogdoches.

"The abatement project is on the Hayter property off North Street, where a historical house-turned-restaurant will become the new clubhouse for an apartment complex," the newspaper said.

The abatement will span over the next five years and will gradually decrease in payouts by the last year.
