TYLER - If you've ever purchased a gun or applied for a job you've probably been asked whether or not you're a U.S. citizen. Washington officials who oppose the Arizona Immigration Law say it opens the door to racial profiling, but Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert says what's happening in Arizona isn't illegal and people are asked about their citizenship every day across the country.

They are asked by NON GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS (SUCH AS LAW ENFORCEMENT) but agencies such as a private business. BIG DIFFERANCE !!
Why doesn't Louie Gohmert file a bill requireing all U.S. businesses to use the federal E-Verify that is 99.5% accurate. A bill that would have harsh punishments for those who hire illegals.
