TYLER - Government experts say soon around 30 Million new patients will be added to insurance because of the health care law.  And 4 Million new patients could be right here in Texas.

More people needling the doctor and more doctors quitting the business or opening up their own private health clubs...equals a doctor shortage.

They call it the gated community of medicine.

A concierge of primary care if you will and thousands of doctors across the country are doing it.

Dr. Hope Short says some advantages of concierge medicine include same day appointments and 24 hour care.

She says with Congress looking to cut Medicare reimbursements 21%...it leaves some doctors with no other option.

Most of the private health care clubs charge upwards of $1,000 a month.

There can also be yearly fees.

What do you think about this?

I remain shocked at the anger and pettiness, not to mention the small mindedness being shown by so many hateful people who were content to allow the ridiculous "requirements" imposed on all by the insurance companies continue. Smug, content because their company constitutes a "group" so they get decent coverage, these mean spirited folks could care less about their countrymen. Yet they presume to wrap themselves in the flag. Real compassionate conservatives.

I find this Obama Saga to be the saddest chapter in all of American history. We are no longer a united people. We are dividing ourselves and a "house divided against itself cannot stand."

Doctors have the right to choose whom they will treat. There are those that never supported Obama care that will be the losers in this tragedy. They could never afford the price. Money seems to be the book, chapter and tablet of command in America now and we are a poorer people for it.
