The article I read earlier said the student had a "fit" and attacked the teacher. This is another example of educational theory that attempts to have equal outcomes regardless of the beginning input: developmentally-challenged children should NOT be in regular classrooms, period!!
Teaching is challenging enough without having to deal with unstable and or destructive children.
