Willie Dean Taylor, 43, of Longview was arrested at his home Tuesday after police say he choked his son.

According to his police report, Taylor was arguing with his wife Debonique at their Nikki Drive home when his son, Tainique Deshun Taylor, entered the room.

Debonique Taylor told police that her husband grabbed Deshun by the neck.

Willie Taylor choked Deshun for about three seconds until he saw his wife leave the room to call 911, according to his arrest affidavit.

Police did not find any injuries on Deshun.

Willie Taylor was held Wednesday in the Gregg County Jail on a $7,500 bond, charged with assault family violence impede breathing circulation.
