Lufkin, Texas — For the second time in the school’s history, Angelina College exceeded 1,000 students during its summer semesters. School President Larry Phillips told board members at Monday night’s meeting that Summer II enrollment is up by over 8 percent.

Phillips attributed the growth to the expansion of online courses offered by the college.
