Stimulus Signs: The Obama Administration wants them up

TYLER - The Obama Administration is strongly encouraging federal construction companies to put up signs at stimulus projects before they get started on those projects, that are being funded by tax payer money.

The Tyler Pounds Regional Airport has had one up since June 2009, and since signing on with the Federal Aviation Administration for a $4.9 million dollar grant to repair and repave a runway.

The airport's director says the sign will be taken down as early as next week, when the grant is closed and now that the construction is complete.

That's all it is...Propaganda. Lenin did it, Stalin did it, Mao did it, and Castro did it. So it doesn't surprise me that Obama is doing it. "Pat me on the back for doing such a good job spending your tax money!"

FDR did it by marking every project with CCC or WPA et.al. I'd bet others have done it to some degree. But so did the Red Chinese, the Soviets, Nazi Germany. This is just not as far down the same street.

These signs are costing us money though! I think it's ridiculous that Obama has to throw signs up everywhere to say "Look what I'm doing!" Our hard-earned money is being spent on these temporary signs when it could be better spent on further repairs!!!! Boooo Obama!!

Rediculous!! And how much is the signs costing the tax payers. One has to be blind and ignorant not to know who is footing the bill.

The Stimulus propaganda package cost the American Taxpayer 20 Million Dollars for Obama Dem Bragging rights that could have been better spent on the poor.

Good riddance to prolific pusillanimous pedagogic propaganda.
