TYLER - The Obama Administration is strongly encouraging federal construction companies to put up signs at stimulus projects before they get started on those projects, that are being funded by tax payer money.
The Tyler Pounds Regional Airport has had one up since June 2009, and since signing on with the Federal Aviation Administration for a $4.9 million dollar grant to repair and repave a runway.
The airport's director says the sign will be taken down as early as next week, when the grant is closed and now that the construction is complete.
