Tyler ISD votes unanimously for a bond election in Nov

TYLER - Tyler ISD votes to have a bond election this coming November.  It calls for a vote on a 89 million dollar bond package that would help pay for a new middle school and two elementary schools.  Joann Fleming, the executive director for Grassroots America we the people says local government needs to get on the same page as tax payers and cut spending.  Here's the updated full story.

Wow, we have come a long way from the one room school house. Wonder what those kids would have thought about having such beautiful buildings. Someone explain why kids are less educated now than their predecessors that didn't have such expensive buildings.
