Many of us are feeling under the weather these days. Is it is cold, flu or allergies?

There is such a thing called "Winter Allergies".

KETK spoke to a Registered Pharmacist, Brad Martin, from Kinsey Pharmacy in Tyler about allergy symptoms.

Martin tells KETK, sneezing, watery eyes, coughing, runny nose and severe sinus pressure are some of the common symptoms of winter allergies.

Martin says, winter allergies are very common this time of year.

So what causes winter allergies?

"Weather change, dust, animal dander, cedar pollen and even mold," says Brad Martin, Registered Pharmacist.

If you're experiencing winter allergies he recommends you take over-the-counter antihistamine, and if allergies worsen to see a doctor for antibiotics. He suggests generic Clartin, Allegra and Zertec.
