We are talking about the recent Crabtree incident in Upshur County. The Crabtrees claim that the Game Warden was on Upshur County Commissioner, Lloyd Crabtree, family's property.

Law enforcement officers and the game warden's officers's were threatened.

So do Game Wardens have the right to be on your property?

Many people want to know, what do Game Wardens do and what rights do Game Wardens have.

KETK visited Texas Parks and Wildlife and spoke to Game Warden, Dustin Dockery, about Game Wardens rights.

Game Wardens are the most powerful public agency and officials in Texas.

They enforcement hunting, fishing, water safety laws.

Dockery reads from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Code 2011-2012 Edition....

"Under jurisdictions of the commission, may inspect permits, tags, any other document issued by the department," says Dockery.

Game Wardens are qualified professionals. They go through a seven-month training program to protect and serve the community.
