Tyler, Texas — Have you been see massive amounts of ladybugs recently? That's because this is the time they are out the most.
Experts from Agri-Life Extension tell KETK ladybugs are out more this time of year. They like to scale the side of building and are attracted to lighter colors.
The beautiful beetles like to keep warm in the Texas sunshine when the cooler temperatures come around, they try to find warmth where they can.
Ashley Pellerin, Agri-Natural Extension Agent tells KETK to get rid of them, don't smash them, Pellerin says they can give off a nasty odor, and can stain your wall.
Pellerin says, "With an attachment hose... vacuum them, and if you have the container just go and dump the container, or the contents of the container by a tree or something so they can scale somewhere else besides your house."
