TYLER — Tyler police are looking for man who allegedly ran over his now ex-girlfriend.

The incident happened just before 5 p.m. on the 3200 block of Walton Road near Jersey Street in Tyler.

Police tell KETK, a couple was in the process of breaking when it occurred. The woman was sitting on the trunk of his car, he drove off,  she hit her head and he ran over her legs and ankle.

The ex-boyfriend fled from the scene in his car.

The woman was taken to a local hospital.

Police say the man stated, "if i can't have you, then nobody can" before he ran her over.
