AP- Michele Bachmann talked about a new theme in her stump speeches today; defining her candidacy as a fight against "socialism" and "socialist forces" in Washington D.C.

The Presidential Candidate and Congresswoman said she believes that socialism applies to the GOP presidential field.

Bachmann pitched herself as the true conservative in the race.

In her speech in Iowa today Bachmann states that "                                                                                        

[Out] of all of the candidates in the race, [she has] spent the last five years fighting socialism with everything that's within [her]. That's what we need. Someone who has gone to the lion's den."

That was the first of 10 speeches Bachmann made in Iowa today.
