Ben Hill Anchor
Ben Hill is the Anchor of FOX 51 TODAY. Ben is the former Weekend Anchor of KETK 'Live at 5' and KETK 'News at 10.'
Ben, an Owensboro, Kentucky native, began his broadcasting career at an early age after seeing Tom Brokaw anchor the NBC Nightly News. Soon after, Ben served as Anchor for both his local middle school and high school news broadcasts, as well as for local cable channels in Kentucky.
A graduate of Western Kentucky University, Ben received a bachelor's degree in Broadcast News and Political Science. While attending Western Kentucky University, Ben served as Anchor/Reporter/Producer for NewsChannel 12 Live at 6, WKU's award-winning newscast. Ben simultaneously served as Television Journalist for Owensboro Government Access Channel 75 in which he served multiple roles as Anchor, Reporter, and Managing Editor for three broadcasts covering local, regional, and state news.
Ben was also one of 10 college journalists nationwide to be selected to serve a summer internship with ABC News 'Good Morning America' in New York. The following summer, Ben was one of only 8 college journalists selected nationwide to serve an internship with NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams in New York.
Ben has an intense passion for news, journalism and politics, and has been fortunate to work with many of the most acclaimed broadcasters in the news business.
When Ben's not covering breaking news, he enjoys playing lots of golf, watching his University and spending time with his wife, friends and family. Ben is proud to now call East Texas home.
