1 killed, 1 hospitalized in Nacogdoches County crash
Nacogdoches, Texas (KETK) — A Nacogdoches man was killed Tuesday night in a head-on collision just under a mile from his hometown.
According to Department of Public Safety Trooper David Hendry, at 9:12 p.m., the driver of a car headed east on Highway 7 crossed the center stripe and struck another vehicle headed west. The car was driven by Taylor Lee Hall, 29. Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Judge Kerry Don Williamson pronounced Hall dead at the scene.
Hendry said Hall was not wearing a seat belt in the accident, but the other driver involved, Dominique A. Malone, 25, of Huntington, was buckled to his seat.
Malone was taken to a Nacogdoches hospital. His current condition is unknown.
