San Antonio, TX — A former San Antonian who reportedly was among at least a dozen people killed in a rampage at a Denver area showing of “The Dark Knight Rises” chillingly had blogged last month about escaping a deadly mall shooting in Toronto.

Jordan Ghawi, a Seguin firefighter who lives in New Braunfels, tweeted early today about the death of sister Jessica Ghawi, 24, a hockey blogger for BustedCoverage.com who tweets as JessicaRedfield: “It appears that my sister has been fatally wounded in a mass shooting at a movie premiere in Denver, CO.”

The San Antonio Express-News also reports a friend of Ghawi, Brent Lowack, was also shot, but not killed.

Other media outlets are also reporting a third Texan from Houston was shot.
