Department of Public Safety troopers responded to a fatal crash in Houston County Tuesday afternoon.

At around 3:53 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to a one-vehicle wreck on FM 2781. The driver, Sabrina Parker, 16, of Kennard, was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Clyde Black.

Crash scene investigators determined Parker was headed south when she left the right side of the road, overcorrected to the left, side-skidded and then flipped into a tree.

gail kohr!!!!!! she was not on her cell phone! I am very insulted! we checked the cell phone records and she had nothing in or out, text or calls!!!! thanks for your rude comment! like you care!!!!! she lived out in a wooded area!!! a animal could've jumped out and she tried to miss it!! as a family member I would appreciate all the rude comments be kept to yourself!!!!

I pray that you and your family finds comfort in knowing she is in a better place. I have four children, all grown, two of my oldest son have Motor cycles. I fear this for them. I can't tell you have to greave, I can only say, God will make each day better. I lost my father, and three week old grandson, five yrs ago in May.everyday is a struggle, but by Gods grace....I'm still here!
Be Blessed! Going in and coming out!

God bless you sorry for your lost

I cannot tell you how sorry I am for your daughter's passing. You all are in my prayers . You have a gorgeous daughter from the time she was born and she will stay that way. She is safe in heaven and will be loved and taken by her hand by Jesus. There is nothing ever appropriate for anyone to say at a time like this , I know, but I just want to tell you my live is with you all and my heart aches for you!

My heart goes out to you Melanie, but I'm glad the pictures are shown. I have a 16 year old that I'm going to show this to and I think it will make an impact to show other teens that accidents happen and to be careful.

im so sad that was my cousin

Praying for this family. What a tragic loss and my heart is broken for them. I lost my 17 year old daughter in a car crash 2 years ago and I can tell you that I am forever greatful that the news media did not make it to the accident scene to take pictures of her vehicle and then share it with the world. This is truly sad that tragic pictures of a vehicle that someone's loved one passed away in has to all over FB Sharing the tragic story is one thing, sharing the photos is absolutely wrong

Prayers for all beautiful girl

THAT IS REALLY TERRIBLE, WAS SHE ON HER CELL PHONE AND GOING TO FAST, PLUS THESE KIDS CANNOT DRIVE THESE BIG CARS AND SPEED TOO AND TALKING ON A CELL PHONE, THEY THINK IT CAN NEVER HAPPEN TO THEM. WELL LOOK AT THIS PICTURE, SO SORRY FOR THE FAMILY MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO THEM TO GET THEM THRU THIS... MY SHE REST IN PEACE....

First of all I'm Sabrina's bestfriend! You don't don't know Sabrina, or what happened. She wasn't on her phone. And she dosent have a big car, I guess that shows how much you know! And if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing at all! People like you that think they know everything piss me off!

Just so you know i am her mother and she was not on her cell phone please dont assume something if you dont know thank you
