18-wheeler knocks into a bridge in Lindale

Lindale, Texas (KETK) — UPDATE: The semi was carrying an oversized load with two big cylinders.
At this time soutbound traffic on Highway 69 is blocked and driver in the area are being rerouted down Interstate 20.
Northbound lanes are fine and are able to be driven down.
ORIGINAL: An 18-wheeler wreck leaves a bridge in Lindale with some damage.
It happened around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Interstate 20 and Highway 69.
Lindale Fire officials tell KETK an 18-wheeler carrying several large tanks was attempting to go underneath a bridge.
The semi had low clearance and the tanks on the truck hit the bricks on the bridge and knocked the tanks from the vehicle.
Members of TxDOT were on the scene to investigate and inspect the scene and say there was a little damage to the bridge.
Fortunately there were no injuries to report and officials have gotten the tanks out of the roadway.
