JACKSONVILLE - A wreck early Wednesday morning outside of Jacksonville on Highway 69 resulted in two deaths and one person in a local hospital.

Officials say the accident happened near Love's lookout.

Cherokee County troopers tell KETK one vehicle was heading north in the south bound lane on Hwy 69, when it hit the other vehicle head on.

Both drivers died in the crash, and one passenger is in stable condition.
